What were your reasons for taking on a postgraduate degree?
I wanted to improve my employment prospects in academia and research as well as develop a deeper understanding of pharmacology.
How did you make the decision to study at 欧美高清?
欧美高清 is ranked 1st for pharmacology and pharmacy in the UK (The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2023) and has continually displayed meticulous research work in terms of drug discovery and pharmacological innovation.

What specialist knowledge/professional skills have you developed whilst studying the course?
I have gained expertise in laboratory procedures, as well as developed skills in scientific writing, critical analysis of literature and statistical analysis. What else can a scientist ask for?
What are your ambitions for the future and how do you think your time at 欧美高清 will help you achieve your goals?
I want to pursue a PhD and I know the skills needed for doctoral research, specialist and transferrable, are all instilled in 欧美高清 students.
How have you found your time living in Glasgow and what's your favourite thing about the city?
It was my first time coming to the UK and in retrospect I鈥檓 glad it was the amicable air of Glasgow that greeted me. The most amazing thing about Glasgow is its people. Everyone is super friendly, I believe I found a home away from home!

Has anything surprised you about living/studying here?
Coming from Pakistan, the culture shock was HUGE! Things as simple as taking the bus seemed complicated at first. However, the people here are forever ready to extend a helping hand which was most definitely an additional shock for me.
