Personal statement

I am a Lecturer in the Department of Economics. My main research area is Labour Economics, which I study using tools from both quantitative macroeconomics and applied microeconomics. My current research spans a broad range of topics within labour economics, including intergenerational mobility, inequality, job search behaviour, mass layoffs, and technological change. I also have a line of research that uses data from professional sports to study labour markets.
