Professor Min Zhang

Personal statement
Prof Min Zhang received her PhD from the University of Cambridge in Engineering. Before that, she received Bachelor and Master degrees from Tsinghua University in Electrical Engineering. Prof Zhang spent a year as a Junior Research Fellow at Newnham College, Cambridge and then joined University of Bath as a Lecturer.听听She joined the University of 欧美高清 as a Reader in 2018 and听 was appointed as the first female professor in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering in 2021.
Prof Zhang received an ERC grant (funded by UKRI) in 2022 and she is a Fellow of IET.
Prof Zhang's research focuses on the application of high temperature superconductors in aviation electrification, fusion and renewable applications. More information can be found at听 https://cryogenicpropulsion.com/wordpress/our-team/
