欧美高清Consumer protection at 欧美高清

The University is committed to treating students fairly and meeting its obligations under consumer protection law. Our approach is informed by guidance from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). We aim to provide clear, accurate and timely information about our programmes, fees and services so that applicants, offer-holders and students can make confident and well-informed decisions about their studies.

We regularly review our policies, procedures, published information and terms and conditions to ensure they remain accurate, transparent and compliant with consumer protection legislation and relevant sector guidance. Where changes to programmes or services are necessary, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.

The University is currently reviewing its consumer protection procedures and continuing to strengthen staff awareness of consumer protection responsibilities through training. From June 2026, we will introduce Introduction to Consumer Protection for Higher Education, an approved training module.

The training will be available to all colleagues and is particularly recommended for staff involved in:

  • programme leadership & programme design
  • marketing & communications
  • admissions
  • recruitment activities, including open days
  • providing information to prospective students
