Loans are available to cover the cost of fees.

Bursaries & scholarships

We have a generous package of bursaries on offer for students from Wales:

You do not need to make a separate application for these. When your place is confirmed at 欧美高清, we鈥檒l assess your eligibility.

Fees

Fees for students from England, Wales and Northern Ireland are determined by the UK Government. Like other Scottish universities, we offer four year Honours degree programmes. In many of our subjects, suitably qualified students from England can enter year two directly and complete their Honours degree in three years. We would encourage suitably qualified A Level entrants to follow this route. Students from England can still enter Year 1 if they wish.

Funding your studies

Undergraduate students who usually live in Wales can apply to Student Finance Wales for a Tuition Fee Loan to cover their tuition fee.

Student Finance Wales will pay your tuition fees directly to 欧美高清.

Maintenance Loan & Learning Grant

You can apply for a Welsh Government Learning Grant (dependent on household income) of up to 拢6,885 and a Maintenance Loan of up to 拢6,650 (dependent on household income) to help cover your living costs while you're at university.

Your Maintenance loan and Welsh Government Learning Grant will be paid to you by the Student Loans Company (SLC).

Loans must be repaid but not until you have finished your course and are earning above a certain amount. Grants and bursaries do not have to be paid back. .

How to apply

If you're coming as a new student, you don't have to wait until you have an offer from us to apply to Student Finance Wales for your funding. Get ahead of the crowd and  when Student Finance Wales opens in February or March.

You must complete your Student Finance Wales application in full and it must be approved before you'll receive anything. Both your fees and your loan will be paid once you've registered as a student at the University and collected your student card.

All applications are for one academic year only, so make sure you apply every year.
